I help operators turn AI into revenue — not slide decks.
I started as an AI researcher at NTU Singapore in the mid-2000s — long before AI was a marketing buzzword. STPM 2002 national top student in Malaysia, 1st-class honours in Electrical & Electronic Engineering with a Business minor, four years on the Dean's List.
Over the next 19 years I shipped four companies. JuzToday as chief developer — 50,000 subscribers in six months, over $1M revenue in year one. Connaxion, a community platform. ShopperBoard as co-founder — 70+ Singapore fashion brands, 150,000 active users, 10 million monthly pageviews — exited to Hashmeta in 2019. And most recently nanogent.ai, managed AI agents for SMBs.
In the same window I grew Hashmeta's organic engine to 5 million search clicks a year, co-founded Business+AI to help 350+ companies adopt AI (members include Bosch, Lazada, Shopee, OCBC, Singtel, Sony, Wipro), shipped Learn Parrot's free AI learning apps for kids on the App Store and Google Play, and started the Agentic Builders Collective in Singapore.
AI agents and marketing aren't two careers for me — they're the same job. Use machines to amplify a domain expert until one operator does the work of a team. That's the Expert in the Loop thesis I now teach.
Most “AI strategy” advice treats AI like a junior employee you delegate tasks to. That model fails because the junior makes decisions a senior wouldn't.
Expert in the Loop flips it. The expert stays in the loop and AI agents handle the surface area. One operator with a good agent stack outperforms a team — not because AI is smarter, but because the expert's judgment is now applied to ten times the throughput.
This is why “AI is an amplifier, not an equaliser.” A novice with AI is still a novice; an expert with AI is a different species. The whole site is built around helping experts compound.

- AI is an amplifier, not an equaliser. A novice with AI stays a novice.
- Most AI pilots die in the strategy phase. Skip to the constraint, not the slide.
- Vibe coding is fine for prototypes. Production needs discipline.
- One operator + agents > a team without them. This is no longer hypothetical.
